The advanced search option enables you to search for payments using specific details such as payer transaction id, status, account number, mobile number among others.
Search rules
Searching with the transaction ID should give one result since the paymentID is a unique key.
Searching with payer transaction ID gives a single payment since payerTransactionID is a unique key.
Searching with the payer Client gives all transactions originating from a single payer client eg Absa.
A user can search for payments in certain payment status codes. This feature allows multi select where a user can search for payments in more than one status.
The date range needs to be included for the search to be successful.
To search for transactions using a specific criteria:
- From the payments page, click on the advanced search button.
- On the form that appears, input your desired search criteria e.g. mobile number and payment origin as shown below.
- Click on the search button to filter through the records.
4. The result(s) of the search will be displayed on payments grid.
